POLAROID SX70 & 600
Years ago most Polaroid Artist worked with SX70 film due to the fact that is developed through the action of a number of chemical agents which took very long to dry and could be altered to produce astonishing effects on the original image. The emulsion that formed the film could be painted on, scratched or altered in a number of ways.
However the discontinuing of Polaroid SX70 film has provoked the appearance of a number of artists who for first time work with Polaroid 600 film, much more commonly available and also very rich in artistic potential.
Although Polaroid 600 film dries much faster than Polaroid SX70 film it is still posible to manipulate to create astonishing images.
